Small Renovation Project Category
Following the news of our Scottish Master Builder award earlier this year, we’re delighted to announce we’ve had further success at UK level.
Back in May, our project in the Grange won the Small Renovation Project category at the Scottish Awards, meaning we were put forward in the same category for the UK awards this September.
The awards panel said, “It’s rare that a company will put so much imagination, workmanship and sheer hard effort into a project with the aim of leaving no visible trace of their work, but it’s the effortless and seamless extension to a classic Victorian property that made True Build Trade Services Ltd stand out as the Small Renovation Project of choice at the national Master Builder Awards 2017.”
The Federation of Master Builders has been protecting and supporting small and medium-sized (SME) construction firms since 1941. Each member is vetted and inspected independently, so they truly only accept the best.
A key part of the FMB’s aim is to improve building quality for the end customer, and they have been lobbying for continuous improvement in building standards for over 75 years.
Owner of True Build, Paul Dempsey, stated “As a small Edinburgh company, it’s an honour to be recognised as top of our class by an organisation with such rigorous standards. We look forward to being inspired and encouraged by our fellow Master Builders as we continue to push for excellence in our craft.”
