Manor Place

The purpose of this project was to convert a commercial office space into a townhouse and the basement into a self contained flat. This meant that we were subdividing an A listed building which created its own challenges. We started by gutting the property, restoring the roof and adding relevant fire and sound regulated upgrades including fire sprinkler installation. We were required to rewire and replumb throughout. In addition we upgraded the sash and case windows.
We also had to replaster the walls and restore the original cornicing keeping this beautiful original feature. The flooring throughout the property was replaced and upgraded to a stunning herringbone floor which really created a sense of space and light. One of the interesting features of this property was that some of the rooms were rounded in parts which made fitting the herringbone floor a challenge.
We fitted brand new, modern, luxury bathrooms featuring free standing baths, wet rooms and brass fittings. The kitchen is spacious and offers all the modern features you could want in a kitchen leading through to a beautiful living room.
The result is a state of the art, luxury, modern townhouse featuring the restoration of the traditional fixtures and fittings thereby maintaining its history.
